Turned gas, electricity and water off to carry out various DIY tasks, now switched them back on and no hot water. Hot water taps run but water doesnt heat up. Pilot light not visable and cant see any spark.

Anybody got an idea?

Are there any lights etc on boiler? Does CH work? More info needed about boiler and what 'tasks' you carried ot

Is the pressure in the system showing about 1.5 Bar on the boiler gauge?

pressure showes between 1.5 and 2.

CH not working either, diy jobs didnt have much to do with boiler, put some new taps in, new lighting etc.

Is there any sign of electrical life on boiler? Test there is power to fused spur. has a mcb tripped off in consumer unit? I would suspect basic electrical fault at first.
