Hi all,
I have a worcester 240 combi boiler. In the past I have lost the hot water and changed the diaphragm which solved the problem. Recently I had what I thought was the same problem! The hot water was only getting warm and the rad in the bathroom was getting warm also ? I put this down to the diaphragm again and changed it but this has not solved it. I can get hot water when the heating is on and can hear the micro switch kick in when I turn the tap on ? I am looking at the diverter valve and thinking is it passing ? But the valves just looks like a solid body, what could fail? I have no problem changing the diverter valve but thought I would pick your superior brains first. Thanks in advance

Correctly diagnosed, I'd agree that its the diverter valve from your description. Part number 87161424190. Can be a bit of a PITA to do

The manifold section is sticking.

In theory they can be cleaned but I have never found that very successful so commercially I always replace the whole valve!
