WB 28CDi, wall mounted, new in Dec '99.
The pressure on our WB 28CDI has, over the last few months, started to rise of its own accord. The filling key is not installed and the filling tap shut. The pressure sits at just under 3 bar with water dripping slowly from the pipe on the outside wall.
If I manually drop it down to 1, it takes between 1 & 2 weeks to rise back to 3.
CH and DHW is excellent and the only previous problem with this boiler is unrelated I think... a slight tear in one the air tubes (a sharp burr on the pipe) of the venturi on the extractor fan to the pressure sensor switch which caused several false lockouts over a period of days, but this occurred soon after installation.
Is this a job for the experts?
grateful for any help.
