I want to remove a bath, how do I do this without draining the system

Take bath pannl off ans see if you have any isolation valves on the hot and cold pipes going to bath taps if yes, turn them off, you dont need to touch boiler

If you have no isolaters, turn off cold main, open all hot and cold taps, til they run dry and then remove bath, fit isolation valves on to hot and cold to bath, then you can turn them off, and out water back on to rest of house while fitting bath.

Turn off the cold supply either at the boiler or if not at the main stop cock.Cut the water pipes that supplies the bath taps and fit a cap/blanking off fitting to both pipes.Turn on the cold supply and operate any other taps to clear air.You do not need to drain the system.

Thanks for both replies, will my Combi system not still be pressurised on the hot water pipe?
Same as the CH pipes would be?

No your hot pipe on your combi is just a continuation of your cold pipe, your cold pipe goes into the boiler, over the burner, thus picking up heat and coming out of the other side hot (in simple terms), so turn off your cold main tap, open all hot and cold taps and they will run dry, then your good to go, when your done turn water back on and open taps to vent, SIMPLES

Cold main off, open kitchen taps, undo bath tap connectors, remove bath then either tighten 3/4 or 1/2 plugs onto the connectors dependent of what is there. That way you wont have to alter any pipework at all. Replace the fibre washers.
