Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody knows the best way to set up this programmer for the HW. My boiler has a built in 2 on/off times for CH and HW. Im installing a wireless stat for the CH, so thats no problem, I just wondered if it was best to leave the HW on all the time (less on/off) or use the timers.
Just recently moved in and guy said he was told on all the time was the most efficient? any ideas?

cheers

Most leave it on all the time, you won't notice any difference in the bills I'm betting. Not sure why worcester even bothered with times for the heat bank, seems pointless.

Depends only of the needs of the user....nothing else.
If you have a large household(lots of water demand),then yes.The cost to heat up the cylinder may or may not outprice leaving it on all the time.
I would try leaving it off at night first of all.Trial and error....
As for the heating,it's an old wives tale that leaving it on all the time in the winter is cheaper. This depends on all sorts of things like the insulation of your home, the size of the rooms, the system(boiler) etc.
