I am nearing the end of building my decking project :D
I have spent the day constructing my raised flower beds, and this is where I hope I have not a made a boo-boo
I will try and keep my question simple:-
Down one side of the deck I will be placing a raised flower bed, which has an overall height of 750mm high, but the flower bed depth is 400mm.
This bed is 4.5m long and 0.5m wide. A quick calculation says that this would take 1.1m3 of soil. This side of the deck has 5 post holes (1.2m apart) which are connected togethor with a 6x2 joist. The foundation for each post hole is about 1 cubic feet of concrete.

My question is, are these footings big enough or am I risking it sinking?

Thanks
