I have recently had a new boiler installed by a Corgi registered engineer and its been working fine for the last 4 weeks.

This evening I noticed that the flat was a litle cooler than normal and went to check that the boiler was working. The blue light was flashing, which according to the manual means that there is a problem. The directions on the manual say that I should reset the boiler when this happens, which i did and the flashing stopped however now the green light(which indicates that the bolier is in operation) is coming on for a second and then switching of.

I have no heating or hot water as the boiler is not staying on for more than one second....does anyone know the problem.

the oddest thing just happened.....I switched off the boiler for about an hour and a half and i have just switched it back on and now everything is working.

I am sure this will happen again so i have called the corgi guy back to come back and check it out again.

No, it was done by a pro. Unfortunately I can't get through to him.
