I saw this one yesterday... customer wants a bathroom refit and wants pink suite replacing with white... bath in exactly nsame position, all new tiling and the item in question to stay exactly where it is

the face cloth on the pipes might cause overheating
nothing like fixing your boiler while in the bath with a pint.

In the 70s, my aunt used to have what they used to call a geyser over the bath. Used to make a loud noise on opening the hot tap, and the gas igniting.
If I stayed at hers, it used to frighten the sh** out of me if I had to have a bath.
Haven't seen one over a bath since then.

Doesn't the location of the boiler break zone 1 electrical rules?
its always better to get the boiler as close to the outlet as possible. could have been mounted six inch lower.
