my home has some clunch walls that have been replastered internally before we bought it. starting to show signs of mould and im wondering if this is down to the plastering work carried out out by the previous owner who didnt know about using breathable materials.
there are a couple of small obvious areas of mould growing where the external side of a clunch wall has been repointed with cement but there are places where the pointing is lime on the outside where mould still grows internally.
is there an easy way to determine which plaster type has been used or so i need to send off for some sampling?
cheers all-happy new year : )
