Have an old vented system with 7 rads. S plan. I recently added X200 to the systen as have limescale problem/kettling etc.
The boiler does seem quieter (still some noise) now but wondered if it might be worth adding another bottle to help things along or would I be wasting my money?
Any help would be appreciated.

Not unusual to take a couple of bottles to quieten down a noisy boiler.

X200 is a mild descaler that will carry on working without u knowing. I would recomend on an average system 7/9 rads let time run its course. It may of reduced the scale in the heatexcahanger to sound ok but there will still bemore to remove for better results. if the system is noisy it may be air. Id give it at least a month to settle.

Are you sure it reduces scale? Where does the scale go? It's not acidic. Did you find this in Sentinel product literature? (I didn't)

By scale do you mean limescale or metal oxides?

Its intended to work on limescale.

Ideal for C.I. boilers.

Its not acidic but does work to an extent and can be left in the system.

Many user reports indicate that its easy to use and works on milder cases.
