My Yale HSA6400 Control Panel has the yellow fault LED lit. I think the tamper micro switch inside may be damaged (as the spring on the back is missing), so I'm guessing it's been dropped, but I don't know how or why.
How can I check this?

I've aslo tried to go into the advanced settings and stop it bleeping, but with no luck!

Any advice??

to stop the beep -

adv settings

warning beep . . . . select option off

As for the tamper switch it is not a spring but an arm that directly operates the tamper microswitch. They are not always visible just make sure the panel is pushed snugly onto the bracket.

Thanks for the info, got the bleep to stop and solved the problem with the panel LED.
