Hi to all.
I'm off to Homebase tomorrow for a bog-basic Yale HSA6200 alarm at £75.
I need a few extra door/window sensors.
That got me wondering if they were vibration sensors as well.
From what I can see they aren't.
Found a company that's Yale installers, and in his blog he says Yale shock sensors should be fitted on patio doors and the like.
Found a thread on here from 2009 saying the same - to fit Yale shock sensors.
I've searched and Googled but can't find these anywhere.
I was going to ring Yale but it was 5.35 and they packed in at 5.30.
Then I remembered how long I was on the line for last time I rang them for a neighbour.
Figured I'd get a quicker answer by asking on here.

Do Yale sell shock sensors, or whatever Yale call them?

Many thanks.
John

Just had a look on the Yale store couldn't see any shock sensors for the yale kit, just contacts only as far as I can tell.

better to speak with Yale.

Thanks very much for the reply.
I looked on Yale but I must have been on the wrong site.
All the alarms were smart alarms.
I'll have a google and see what other makes do have shock sensors.
Thanks again.
