Zanussi De6965 dishwasher that will not fill with water

i have a De6965 dishwasher that will not fill with water. water pressure is OK from mains and i have replaced the Dishwasher Anti-Overflow Electric Inlet Valve, but it still wont fill. motor sounds like it is working so i am at a loss.
