I'd be really grateful for any opinions or advice, before shelling out for a new cooker.
What Happened ?
I was using the grill and it burned the food in quick time. Never done that before.
Now the fan and internal oven light come on but the grill and main fan element don't come on. The temperature light never comes on now.
I have had the main oven element out and checked it with a continuity meter, and it seems OK. Also it doesn't look burnt out.
I'm thinking that it's the thermostat. But I'd like another opinion.
Could there be some sort of cut-off swith that might also be at fault.
Oven is a Zanussi ZSA35B, single built it electric oven.
