Zanussi FJ 1295 not performing Short Spin.

When there's a programme including Short Spin, the machine simply comes to a standstill, whereas if one involves a Long Spin, there is no trouble at all.
I've taken the top off and looked at the circuit board on the programme.
There appear to be no wires connected to the area which says b1,b2 and b3.
Should there be some connection there?
Otherwise, can anyone advise on how to fix the Short Spin problem?

Ermmm...no
This is a very old machine with a hybrid timer (motor & cams with a little pcb on top). If you can't live without a short spin buy a new timer (if you can find one). If you can live with a long spin save your money & run it into the ground.
