Zanussi jetsystem zwf 14380 washing machine stopped

Hi, Zanussi jetsystem zwf 14380 washing machine (out of warranty) on wash cycle, has stopped 27 seconds before the cycle ends.

Filter is not blocked as took out and checked.

Managed to get door unlocked and rescued washing.

turning on off at mains, and any setting on dial wash/spin etc does nothing, 27 seconds remains on the clock and cant select anything else.

On off button constantly flashes.

Is it dead ?

Not quite dead....but certainly sick
Post the PNC number, there are 6 - 7 different version of this model. Should look something like this: 914522676/01.

Update - thanks zipper, have been away.

Not dead - not sick, extensive internet trawling told me the child lock had been switched on while the machine was operating ( wouldnt have thought that was possible )

Anyway - I tried method for switching off the child lock ( sequence of button pushes to turn on or off ) and it finished its cycle and has been fine since then !
