Hi folks, have got a problem on a Zanussi TCE 7124 W.

Wife been telling me our dryer was on the blink so I've cleaned all the filters today. They're all fine. Hot air is definitely being generated, but the clothes don't seem to be drying and there's no water being transferred to the water reservoir. The power lights all seem to be OK.

Just wondering what the problem could be?

Heat exchanger clogged, and/or the pipe to the water container is blocked with fluff.

Thanks stillp, I've got the side panels off but can't get at the pump yet. The heat exchanger looks fine.

I have found the belt has torn in half though. Now forgive my ignorance, but would this cause the symptoms above? Is a simple belt replacement all I need, or could something else still be the problem of the lack of water entering the reservoir?
