zanussi washing machine problem?

hi all,
i have a zanussi fjdr 1666w, it fills as normal,seems to start the wash then it jumps back to the begining and goes into pause mode,then it wont un pause or continue the cycle unless we advance it then it works fine,it just wont do the wash bit of the cycle,

be glad of all and any help please.

hi all,
an update on this machine, it seems to be overfilling the drum and takes ages for the water to stop going in,also it fills through the pre-wash intake even on cool setting,everything else is working ok on this machine

any help please?

hi all,
anybody out there who can help me with this please, it cant be much wrong surley if everything else is working,i'm a corgi reg engineer and write on the central htng pages,so come on guys give a fellow tradesman a break if poss....................its my own machine not a job
