False alarm. No siren, strobe stuck on! Accenta g4

Hi

Got home the other day and the strobe outside was flashing, went in and It said the usuall stuff so I unset the system like normal but now the strobe constantly flashes every 3-4secs armed or dis-armed 24hrs!
Also the siren outside doesn't sound anymore?

Sounds like an internal short in the sounder. Need a new one.

Then again it could be the panel not resetting properly. You need to isolate them from each other to see what's going on.

Why do you never hear of this 'problem' with a Galaxy or similar Pro panels?

I've never heard of it with any panel. If it's the sounder it's got nowt to do with the panel.

Honeywell now make accenta probably improved some parts from ADE

When I used ADE they liked to char themselves black marks up the wall this was in well vented areas not seen this with the honeywells

Only problem I hav had is loss of engineer codes during total power loss including battery running out. User code worked ok. Code reset got it back

I suspect problem with bell, wiring or fuse
