Hi,

We had our new skirting boards and architraves fitted about 6 weeks ago, about 3 weeks ago i caulked along the top of the skirting boards and around the edges of the architraves to leave a clean finish and no gaps.

Now it has all come apart because of the recent heat i think, is it worth me caulking it again or will the same just happen? Whats the best thing to do to fill the gaps in?

Cheers,
Danny

When you orginally caulked, was this on bare wood, or had it been primed/undercoated first?

It has been primed first with ronseal knotblock and primer.
