Gravel boards - treat before installing?

Hi all

Have recently bought some new fence panels but also think the gravel boards will need replacing; easy enough to do by the look - again, they come pre-treated, but is there a special preservative I should use (instead of what I use on the fence) to help them last longer?

No point. They will have been pressure treated which gets preservative far deeper into the wood than you can do with a paintbrush.
