British Gas 330 Boiler will not ignite with error code f12

hi all,

could really do with some advice. I have a British Gas glowworm 330 condensing boiler. When initially switched on it comes up with a fault code f12 and 0 on temp display. After 30 secs or so the temperature display is fluctuating wildly and a fan seems to be pulsing but the bolier doesn't ignite. Can anyone help please.

That code indicates a connection fault between the user control and the main pcb.

Hi,
Yes i electrically disconnected the user interface unit and the main PCB to see if there is anything obvious with the cables, but nothing.

could be a faulty interface given the symptons but you should get an rgi to fit it if it is that and set it up as its a generic part and the fan speeds need to be checked for the correct model and fga afterwards.
