Any ideas what could cause the boiler to stop heating the water - all radiators are working OK. Any assistance would be much appreciated...

Thanks for the diagrams. Haven't seen either of those to be honest. Would we definitely have one or the other? Would it be close to the hot water tank? I've looked around and can't see anything like that. Could it be located anywhere else?
Could be near the boiler or even underfloor if you're really unlucky. Normally near the hot water cylinder.
