worcester bosch combi boiler junior greenstar

Please help someone i have a worcester bosch junior greenstar and have had it 3 years it has a green descaler filter fitted underneath where the pipes are at the back of my kitchen cupboards i noticed water coming underneath my kitchen units today and when i took the pelmets off noticed a flood so i took my kitchen unit to bits and noticed that the green filter thing was leaking water so i turned the boiler off and the water now i dont have anything and dont know what to do. can i take the thing off or what. I have been in hospital all day so really dont need this i cant afford a plumber please help
Its a scalemaster magnetic inhibitor whatever that is

Needs the descaler removing or the leak fixing.

Plumber time but sounds like an easy quick fix.
