Hello,

As I have been out of the country for some time I would appreciate some advice.

Are building control still happy with the use of 300mm DPC to prevent ponding at the eaves ?

Have heard talk of Eave Protection Boards / Systems etc and it occurred to me that maybe Building Control have changed the rules.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

It's not a building control issue

It's a bit crap to use DPC as it reverberates in the wind and will get on your nerves.

Use the proper plastic trays

Thanks for the response.

Never previously had a problem with reverbaration (that I am aware of anyway), where I live & work eaves trays don't exist.

As the work is for my in-laws I am going to take your advice and use eave trays as I just don't want the grief !

Cheers
