Sloping Slate Roof Extenion - Advice please

Hi Guys,

Any ideas of how this type of roof is constructed on an extension? We're looking for ideas for our extension and really like the look of the sloping roof, with windows and slate tiles. has anyone built anything similar?

A vaulted ceiling can be achieved by using a steel ridge beam to control spread, if you are using a dual pitch roof. Otherwise a lean-to roof will simply be built without joists.

The roof can be insulated with 125mm celotex.

Cold deck would see 100mm between the rafters with 25mm under draw (across the underside) using breathable membrane and 50mm air gap.
Warm deck would be similar but with the 100mm celotex above and across the rafters with the 25mm between rafters and pushed up tight against the 100mm. No air gap.
