Can anyone tell me how to get to the mounting screws for this timer please.

It is about to fall off the wall and I need to refix it.

I have all the wires disconnected from it.

Thank you.

Why do you want to remove it?

Will you be putting it back, either there, or somewhere else?

Will you be replacing it with another one there?

Could you stand a bit of damage to that wall?

Does it work? Will you be keeping it in case it comes in useful or selling it on eBay?

What happens if you remove that screw at the very bottom?

i still need it.

I want to refix it too the wall a tad higher up i expect to get a good screw hole.

It is loose.

I think the silver screw is an earth tag.

Will have another go soon

Not sure if this is like the Sangamo (I think) timers where you pull the gubbins out and your left with just a enclosure.

Try looking for a screw (or two) on the side of the mechanism, loosen this and the gubbins may lift up/forward/out.

Can't remember exactly how you do it but all the gubbins pulls out which gives you access to the connection terminals and the fixing holes.

Managed it earilier on thanks very much.

You undo a screw at the top.
And then it unplugs/pulls forward at the bottom.

Impressed with the battery backup. Still going 24hrs later, odd it makes more noise when running off the battery

At the top it hooks onto a screw head, so you lift up to remove.

Heavy things!

I should imagine that's because it's a wind-up mechanism.

Our old DNO timer used to (try?) to wind itself up about midnight every day, yours might do the same.
