Most likely a gas/combustion related fault which will need a gas registered engineer.

what for?
diaphram/microswitch/divertor, replacement dependant on model.just because its a combi does not mean its gas related plumbers can repair boilers too as long as it does not involve the gas/combustion process.

You dont seem to understand how boilers work!

The OP says the fan runs! That should mean something to you but apparently does not!

According to the English language, I interpret that as meaning that the fan starts running when the hot tap is turned on!

Do you get central heating? What model is your boiler?

If ch does not work either, it probably isn't a diy job.
If the boiler hasn't been serviced for more than a year, you should get a RGI to sort it out any way.
