Hi
I have a washing machine that is full of water and clothes - it just stopped mid cycle and wont respond to anything.
I guess its likely that it is the fuse that has blown but just wanted to check if it could potentially be anything else.
Any advice greatly appreciated

Brilliant. You've been a real help. i wondered why it was so dark in my house too!

Well given your description and you haven't even bothered to check the fuse, what did you expect.

I havent checked the fuse yet, because the machine is in a rental flat of mine and the tenants were away for the evening and I couldnt get hold of them to see if they were fine with me accessing the property.
I therefore posted on here to see if anyone had any other tips before I went round (and obviously) will try the fuse first!

More information is required before a diagnosis can be attempted.
Make and model would also be very helpful.
One thing though, if the fuse has blown then there is definitely something wrong with the machine. A fuse only blows when it's rated capacity is exceeded and your washing machine shouldn't pull 13 amps or more.
