moved into a new house 3 weeks ago i posted a query other week got a ideal classic boiler in garage hot water tank in cupboard upstairs and a tank in loft, when we have the hot water turned on it stops on for 20 mins then stops. there is various pipes running up to the loft and on one pipe is the pump, the pump is getting red hot and you can hear like sizzling water running through the pipe which the pump is attached to does this sound like its working right the boiler stat is set at 5 the cylinder stat is set at 50

the sizzling noise is only when the water is being heated up
 
I think you are trying to convince yourself that there is a problem with your system.

Why not get a local heating engineer to give it the once over for your own piece of mind.

Possibly air in the primary circs.
More importantly set your cylinder stat to 60 deg minimum to ensure you dont get legionella in your hot water supply.
