Can someone tell me what could go wrong with an old style storage heater? There is a wire - thin with 2 strands - from a wall thermostate that has come disconnected from a electrical box next to the heater, would this be the only cause do you think? I have tried to use it but it is just not warming up. Have never used it before as it's a new property so don't know if this would be the only problem. From my understanding there isn't a lot of parts to them. Is there a fuse hidden somewhere?
Many thanks Diane

with no stat how is it going to know to what temp it should work to?

Thanks for that, i did think it could be the wires come loose and did try to connect them but couldn't get the 2 small screws to undo in the electrical box! Will get some help to undo them for me. Cheers
