have just fitted main30 condencing boiler not connected to gas or electric yet but boiler is filling through the cold water mains pipe cnnected to boiler for hot water when filling loop connected through heating return pipe is not connected any ideas

If you haven't got the pipes wrong
, it sounds like the secondary heat exchanger is passing. If you fill through the filling loop, does water come out of the hot tap with the cold inlet off? Did the boiler have any water in at all - like they'd tested it in the factory?reply to your q/ water not comeing through hot tap when cold main to hot system shut off but when filling through filling loop water light brown and boiler emptys strange isnt it as if draining through hot tap ?
