Hi all,
Having a new condensing boiler fitted on Friday and seem to remember reading something about installer should leave the customer with a log book or registration card or some such paperwork or am I completly off the mark?

Just wanted a bit of advance info if anyone could

it`s called a benchmark. Most manufacturers print it in the manual that comes with the boiler, and should be left with you after installation. make sure you have it, it`s also required as validation of your guarantee.
Later in the post you should recieve a certificate of building regulations compliance when your installer registers the appliance with corgi.

You are assuming he is stupid enough to register it with Corgy.

All he needs to do is notify building control as per the law of the land, at no cost.
