Hello apologies for any incorrect terminology.

Currently the filler pipe for the central heating snakes it's way around the kitchen and connects with a tap right next to the boiler. As we are putting a new kitchen in and the pipe is quite unsightly we'd like to move it.

quite close to where the water main comes into the flat is a pair of the pipes for the radiators. It would be very easy to connect the filler into one of these pipes thus removing all the piping. Is this possible? I guess i'm asking does it matter where in the circuit the central heating is filled from?

Details from memory are

Valiant sorry don't know the model
Hot water tank
5 Radiators

any thoughts very welcome

kind regards

Rich

You can't but could you not either use two people to fill the system or install a pressure gauge where you could see it.

The last place I was in you couldn't see the gauge either
