Hi

Any assessment from you guys please

I'm a big boy and can take it
40 amp may be changed to 32A depending on coooking appliances

I know there are no labels for install date and rcd regular test yet.

question you will see two line on the 6 amp on 8, i have taken the emergency lighting above from that , is that ok?

thanks comms, its for smoke detection and i think they are preferably wired without rcd protection.

Ahh, you have the high-integrity version of my own wylex :)

Whilst not massively functionaly important (there are some considerations tho) this is the level of neatness I aspire to.

I like the emergency light too :) Take it that is fed from the 6A MCB on the non-rcd side?

edit: Blimey, its the exact same Acel non-maintained one as well!

I aspire to Clicks neatness levels - not quite there yet. Seriously if it looks like a rats nest the assessor is more likely to probe more deeply. If it's as neat as Clicks the assessor should be impressed and treat you more gently.

How did you run the cable and what type of cable did you use get around the RCD issue?

It's not the neatest board in the world but looks fine with the cover on ;)

thnx g mo, The cable for smoke detection is clipped direct in the cupboard where the cu is, then thru joist holes between ground and first floor and then in mini trunking next to an archetrive and cipped in loft to the first floor detector, I think that should be compliant, but please comment if you think not. yes its a bit messy compared to click sures, i know, but I learned so many lessons in practicalities on this. thx
