NEW OAK OILED FLOORING

JUST LAYED A NEW OAK FLOOR THAT HAD BEEN BRUSHED WITH OIL. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE BEST VANRNISH TO USE ON TOP OF THIS? icon_rolleyes.gif

None!

Oil is oil, and needs hard wax or wax-polish for maintenance.
You CANNOT varnish over an oiled floor!

To true. If a floor is oiled or waxed it has to stay that way. You can only varnish/urethane floors that have not been oiled or waxed
