Nailing Battens to rafters - 1 or 2 nails?

Sounds like a fairly basic question, but just though I would check how many nails should be used at each rafter to secure the battens.

Battens are 25x50, 600mm centre rafters and tiles are concrete double roman - if that help any.

Just the one will do - 65mm galvanised

a good roofer can bang 'em in with three hammer blows too.
