Has this water heater got a summer/winter setting on it like our old heater had.
The water does not seem very hot since the colder weather has arrived.

No, don't be surprised that it can only deliver a max determined temp rise in cold weather as due to it's design, turning your tap down slightly may improve things.

Thanks gas2air would slowing the feed into the heater do the same thing as we have a valve before the heater

You sure it is a medway super as most of these had a temp selector knob on the front

Yes the model is correct. With the knob on the front at max the water temp is very warm at best since the weather turned cooler.

multipoints should give a temp rise of between approx 44 and 50 degrees centigrade at a 6.5litre per min flow rate.
If it is struggling it could be because gas supply is too small it should be as a rule of thumb 22mm up untill the last 3m then it can drop to 15mm or if has a worn diaphragm it won`t open the gas valve enough to let right amount of gas through to heat water
