this may sound like a silly question but so far i\\\'ve been given conflicting answers...
i\\\'ve just moved into a house with an unfinished extension and am in the process of finishing the downstairs toilet.
what i want to know is it it ok to have the extractor going out into the garage or does it have to be an outside wall?

any help is much appreciated!

outside, since if not you will just be moving the air into the garage

def outside.

Besides, everytime you go into the garage for something it will stink of sh*t.

Of course you could connect it up the wrong way and provide an alternative method of gassing yourself :LOL:

You can buy a flexible duct quite cheaply. Provide it will not get damaged you could run it into the garage to an outer wall and connect to a grill. But agree it must go outside!!

Dunc

I installed a downstairs extractor, through the garage, and then ouside. Works fine!
