i have recently fitted a new bathroom with a nice big corner bath, however i am not able to fill it as the combi boiler cuts out every 10 seconds and sends through a spell of cold before firing up again. does anybody have any thoughts on this problem? my c/b is a alpha 280 and i believe it could be the flow valve or dhw flow valve micro switch. any help would be appreciated. thanks

sounds like blocked domestic heat exchanger on the system water side, replace heat exchanger, then fit magnaclean on return fron rads.

Sounds like the plate exchanger is blocked. Either have the system flushed and exchanger cleaned, or powerflush on its own may do the job.
