Worcester 280 Combi (NO DHW)

Hi All,

I currently have an old Worcester 280 combi in my flat.The one with the motorised diverter valve I'm told.

The problem is,I have no DHW at all,The boiler doesn't fire at all when the hot tap is opened,The central heating side is working perfectly.

When the C/H is on the lever on the bottom of the diverter valve moves over and when switched back off it returns back to it's original position.

Doe's anyone have any idea's to what this could be,I have a heating engineer who is coming to have a look but not until saturday.

Is there a hot water on/off switch on this? Maybe seem silly but you'd be surprised how many call outs are for something as simple as that. Usually on the integral timer on the front of the boiler.
