Painted paveing flags

Got some old flags on my patio,all dis colourd. Is it possible to paint them with masonry paint and get a good result. Half of them are red the others yellow . Any idear,s Thanx PAUL.

If you don't like the fact that they're dirty, a pressure washer will make them look new. If you paint them you've got an extra maintenance job.
 
Not a good idea to paint as you will find they look cheap and do not stand up to traffic.
:(
 
Go on, clean them properly. How would you feel if the wife started painting the cups because she couldn't be bothered to get the tea stains out?

if they're concrete you could try this,

Concrete Cleaner! Dissolve 3 pounds metasilicate in 1 gallon hot water. Use with broom.

Though never tried it myself so not garunteeing it will work. :rolleyes:
 
Just to add on,

Wash it with sharp sand as well will help.
 
Hire a pressure washer if you don't want to buy one, or have the use to make buying one worth while.

Just don't try to wash the pebble dash with it! Or the paint work on your car!
