Bosch Dishwasher SGS4012GB/07 Will not heat water or dry

Any ideas why my Bosch unit is not heating water or drying dishes - the problem has been getting progressively worse? Could it be an element problem if so is it relatively easy to replace? Would this explain why the tablet remains semi-dissolved after the cycle.

I've just had the same problem with my Bosch,

From what I have found it will be the heating element.

New elements for most makes are available for less than £50 but the bosch ones seem a lot harder to find, the cheapest price I could find was more like £150 direct from bosch.

Not worth it, espicially as you've then got to take it apart and hope it was that at fault.
