Hi guys

you see in a lighting circuit when the cable from the previous light is coming in and then the cable from another light is going out. Is it ok to connect another connect another light into the same one so that there will be 3 coming off it, sort of like a spur?

Thanks very much

Providing the terminal is physically big enough to take the additional wire, then yes its fine.

[pedant]Stricktly speaking it is not a spur, it's a branch from a radial circuit[/pedant] ;)

Thank you very much for the confirmation and for letting me know its not a spur.

Generally a spur is from a ring final circuit.

Lighting circuits tend to be radials so there is no concept of a spur.
