removing paint from staircase

Any ideas how to remove paint, preserver etc from a wooden stair case fast? I've tried Paramose and old paint, varnish etc still there.

nitromors, heat gun or get a dog to breath on it mate!!!!

Thanks for the reply. Someone else recommended Nitromors. I bought it today. So I'll use it this weekend. Hopefully it should finish the job. I note your other suggestions and let's see what happens with the Nitromors before moving on and trying your other suggestions
