Hi Guys,

Im connecting up a Klik light, and on the plate theres 4 connections, an earth, neutral, loop and a blank one? Im just wondering wether the sw would go into the loop or the blank terminal?

Anyone familiar with connecting these up?

Thanks

Loop does not actually connect to the plug. It is there just as a terminal to joint a live feed for example.

Is the blank terminal actually labbled with a letter 'A'?
This is an auxilary terminal and can be used to provide a permanant live to an emergency light via a 4 pole plug and 4 core flex for example.

The 'live' terminal is normally the switched live to your fitting.

Thanks for the quick response :)

Yeah I seem to remember it having A on it. Im just running a 3 core pyro from a override switch to an emergency light so the light will have permanent power apart from when the power goes down. So the A is the one I want!

Thanks again!

you can only use A if you are using the red type plug, that goes in the special socket
this is so you dont get switched lights and permenent supplied light plugs swopped about
