...does anyone else have very wet or damp footwells in their puma or ford......someone has suggested it may be a leaky seal or leakin through the pollen filter........

....any idea how to stop or remedy it....?

any help appreciated.

first thing to do is try to find where its coming from. The way I've done so in the past is have someone outside of the car with a hose, soaking it in various places. The other person gets themselves in the footwell with a torch to see whats what. Other than that, are you sure its a seal and not a leaking matrix?

Yes, you're correct, its when the pollen filter was replaced, that the probs start.

On the passenger side, the black trim, that sits over the bottom of the windscreen, where the wiper blade sits, should be sealed.

Its any easy fix, remove the black vented panel, clean off any old black sealant, run a new bead of sealant along the top edge of the panel, and replace it, holding it down for a few minutes, then replace screws.....job done.
