Hello. I live in a terraced house which is around 80 years old, and I've just been doing some MORE decorating )

I've decided the other day to think about getting some routine checks done on the electrics and gas appliances, just to make sure everything's going fine, and to have some peace of mind certificates.

I have a gas hob, but I have no certificate for it, can I get a CORGI certificate for it if I get a engineer in to check it along with the boiler, or will he have to basically re-connect it himself as if it was a new installation?

HI

all you need is general gas safety check and for this the hob does not have to be refitted.

Thanks for the reply. Is that ok, even if I haven't got an installation certificate?

depends on the installation if it is new then it does matter.
