Can anyone offer some advice please,
If the plant room to a large house is in an outbuilding away from the main property to be heated about 20m away can the heating F&R's and the cold, HW flow & HW retun be run underground with insulated pipework. If so has anyone got any recommendation on the type/manufacturer of the pipework that would be used and what depth they would be laid?

Thankyou

Flexalen, Calpex, Rauthermex...there are several pre-insulated piping products on the market that would meet your requirements.

Thanks guy's. is 20m away excessive or quite common? A depth of 450mm should suffice too hopefully

20m is fine.

450mm depends on whats on top, I would say that as a minimum cover.

BSS is probably your best outlet.
