Hi

Please help me. I just went to put the heating on and noticed the pressure gauge had dropped to 0.4.

Got instruction books out and it says "if the indicator is in the light grey area (below 0.8 bar) fill the system up with water. If it falls below 0.3 bar it switches off and displays error message F22. The system must be filled with water before it is started again."

However, in the instruction book it does not tell me how to fill it with water! I vaguely remember the plumber telling me something when he fitted it but just cannot really remember.

Any ideas how I fill it with water?

Thanks ever
Soph (feeling very stressed and just a bit blonde!) :(

If you have the later ecoTEC there are two very clear grey valves under the boiler as shown above.

On the earlier ecoTEC there are just recessed screws in the bottom, which are difficult to find and you need to refer to your boiler manual. We made a colour picture up with arrows on it for our customers but I am not in the office so do not have it to hand.

Fab!

Thanks so much chaps, have done that and the magic needle went back to where it should be! How much easier if the stupid instruction book had just said turn one grey valve then the other!

I am very grateful indeed.
